Hi again! Here is my word & reflection for February:
COMPASSION
I thought this word was very fitting with Valentine's Day this month💖 COMPASSION includes a multitude of emotions, including kindness, empathy, and thoughtfulness. I think COMPASSION is one of the most powerful ways to show love. I also think it is important to note that you can give COMPASSION to others and arguably more importantly, yourself! SELF-COMPASSION is so extremely important with this, it is difficult. A step to SELF-COMPASSION can be neutral self-talk, then moving towards positive-self talk. It can also be forms of self-care and taking time for yourself, whether it be watching a comfort show, reading your favorite book, or having a spa night.
My reflection: I love February. I am writing a blog post dedicated to why I love February, love month, and Valentine's day, all the love in this month is so special to me. I enjoyed having this month be dedicated to COMPASSION, especially with a focus on SELF-COMPASSION. This made me more intentional in self-care and what I say to myself. I think I grew in my SELF-COMPASSION this month, which also helped me grow in my COMPASSION that I can give to others. Happy (belated) love month! Make sure to give yourself extra love this month, and always.💗💘💝
